Meister Fontana Tenor Trombone
Fun, lively & warm.
The Fontana signature model trombone is the result of a two year journey to create an instrument with a lively tone appropriate to an orchestra, yet light, centred, and compact in fortissimo playing.
In piano passages, the Fontana’s tone is full, gentle and warm. The F attachment is an original Schagerl valve, providing outstanding intonation and projection. The valve throw is very short, providing a quick and light action, and increased agility for the player. The slide wrap is somewhat wider than normal, more akin to a bass trombone slide, making the sound compact and warm.
The Schagerl Meister Fontana Trombone is multifaceted, excelling in jazz and solo work.

"I'm always fascinated by the quality of Schagerl instruments. In them I found the sound I was always looking for. The magic of Schagerl."
